Manufacturing Operations Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead and oversee all manufacturing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, optimizing operational performance, improving productivity, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and continuous improvement skills to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Monitor production schedules, workforce utilization, and equipment performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Lead production teams and provide coaching, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Logistics, and Engineering teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material availability to avoid production delays.
- Analyze production data and prepare operational reports for senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other best practices.
- Identify operational risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage departmental budgets and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, Manufacturing Management, or a related field) is required.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or production management.
- Proven experience managing large manufacturing teams in an industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
