Job description:
The Lab Assistant (CSE) will support academic and practical laboratory activities by assisting faculty and students, maintaining computer systems and software, and ensuring smooth conduct of CSE laboratory sessions. The role requires strong technical knowledge and hands-on skills in computer systems and programming.
Mandatory Qualification
- B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
- MCA
Key Responsibilities
- Assist faculty during CSE laboratory practical sessions
- Prepare and configure lab systems as per syllabus requirements
- Install, update, and maintain operating systems and programming tools
- Support students in executing programs and practical assignments
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues
- Maintain LAN, internet, and Wi-Fi connectivity in labs
- Ensure proper functioning of servers, systems, and peripherals
- Maintain lab records, stock registers, and system logs
- Assist in internal and university practical examinations
- Ensure lab safety, cleanliness, and discipline
- Coordinate with HOD and system administrator for technical issues
