Spectrum Solar Power is looking for an experienced Senior Engineer – Solar Projects to lead and manage rooftop and commercial solar PV projects from planning to commissioning. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and experience in handling on-site execution while ensuring quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects.
- Conduct site surveys and technical feasibility assessments.
- Prepare project execution plans and coordinate with internal teams.
- Supervise installation activities and ensure timely project completion.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and government authorities whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and company quality guidelines.
- Monitor project progress, prepare daily and weekly progress reports, and resolve technical issues.
- Verify project materials, installations, and testing before commissioning.
- Support project documentation, handover, and customer training.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and site teams.
- Travel to project sites across Kerala whenever required.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in solar project execution or renewable energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of rooftop solar systems, inverters, electrical installations, and commissioning.
- Experience in project planning, team coordination, and site management.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project reporting.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in commercial and industrial solar projects.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and project documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
