Job Title: Billing Engineer – Residential Interior Projects

Job Summary:
The Billing Engineer will be responsible for preparing, verifying, and maintaining accurate project billing, BOQ s, and cost records for residential interior projects. The role requires close coordination with site engineers, project managers, vendors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate billing and certification of work done.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and verify **Client Bills** and **Subcontractor / Vendor Bills** based on site progress and drawings.
* Cross-check quantities from **GFC drawings, site measurements, and BOQ**.
* Maintain **work progress and cost tracking reports** for each project.
* Coordinate with site teams for **measurement verification** and documentation.
* Review and update **variation orders, additional work claims**, and rate analysis.
* Prepare and maintain **monthly project billing summaries and reconciliation reports**.
* Verify **purchase orders**, **work orders**, and related billing documentation.
* Ensure **timely submission of bills** and **follow-up for certification and payments**.
* Support project management in **budget monitoring, cost control, and cash flow forecasting**.
* Maintain records of **as-built drawings, material consumption, and quantity verification sheets**.
* Liaise with the Accounts Department for **invoice generation and final billing*
Required Skills & Competencies:
* Strong knowledge of **Interior Project Billing, BOQ preparation, and quantity estimation**.
* Proficient in **AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office**.
* Familiarity with **rate analysis, cost control, and project documentation**.
* Excellent analytical and coordination skills.
* Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
* Detail-oriented with strong numerical accuracy.
Qualification:
* B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Engineering, or equivalent.
Preferred Industry Background:
* Residential Interiors, Modular Furniture, Turnkey Fit-out Projects, or Architecture Firms.
