Job Summary :
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong structural design expertise and hands-on experience in Tekla software. The candidate will support our sheet metal fabrication operations and be responsible for designing and developing structural components, fabrication drawings, and 3D models for industrial products such as ducting systems, hoppers, bins, and support structures. The role requires proficiency in design software, a solid understanding of fabrication processes, and the ability to ensure designs are accurate, cost-effective, and suitable for manufacturing.
Qualifications:
- B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in structural/mechanical design within fabrication or manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in Tekla Structures (preferred) software
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D drawings
- Basic understanding of structural analysis tools (STAAD, etc.) is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes (cutting, bending, welding, assembly)
- Familiarity with industrial components like ducts, hoppers, bins, frames, and supports
- Understanding of engineering standards and tolerances
- Good communication and coordination skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
