As the Senior Director of Enterprise Applications, you will lead the planning and execution for a large-scale enterprise transformation, drives strategic change by aligning technology with business objectives to boost efficiency, innovation, and competitiveness .You will provide strategic and tactical leadership for enterprise application design and development across multiple products and business lines. You will ensure that all technology elements, including applications, infrastructure, testing, integrations, data, and end-user readiness, are fully coordinated and deployment-ready for each release wave. You will partner closely with the Business Release Integration Lead to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery with minimal operational disruption.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the planning & coordination within the enterprise transformation program
- Lead strategic planning and execution for application and cloud-based systems, prioritizing initiatives and guiding the evaluation, development, deployment, and management of current and future technologies in partnership with key stakeholders
- Responsible for people management and driving a positive team culture that continually encourages creativity, ownership, and accountability
- Own the technical deployment playbook, including cutover steps, rollback procedures, and post-deployment validation
- Oversee environment provisioning, configuration, and refresh schedules
Enforce change control processes for IT components, including scope, timing, and resource impacts
- Define and track technical release KPIs
- Coordinate technical aspects of user access provisioning and de-provisioning
- Partner with the Business Release Integration Lead to ensure alignment across business and IT activities
- Communicate release status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
- Support cross-functional coordination during cutover and hypercare
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree - Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required; Masters Degree preferred
- 12+ years of leadership experience in business transformation and ERP Implementations using best of breed systems/applications
- 7 years of experience in the design, implementation, and management of enterprise applications
- 5 years of experience managing projects and contracts with outside vendors and consultants
- Administrative experience including organization, planning, cost and benefit analysis, budgeting and project management, and evaluation
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with IT leadership teams, and with the ability to build coalitions across organization
- Strong knowledge of systems development life cycle methodologies, change control, change management, and project management
