A Government Business Development (BD) Manager identifies, pursues, and wins public sector contracts. This role manages relationships with government buyers, navigates public tenders (such as GeM or state portals), and handles the entire proposal lifecycle from lead generation to contract closure.Key Responsibilities
- Tender Tracking & Bidding: Monitor portals for relevant requests for proposals (RFPs), expression of interests (EOIs), and electronic tenders.
- Proposal Management: Write, review, and submit compliant technical and financial bids meeting strict public procurement guidelines.
- Government Relations: Build and maintain professional relationships with public sector buyers, department heads, and nodal officers.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all submissions align with statutory, legal, and tender-specific criteria.
- Pipeline Management: Track active leads, bid statuses, and conversion metrics in the government sales funnel.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
