Job Summary
Fun-Learn Day Boarding School is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join our academic team. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students, deliver engaging lessons, and contribute to their academic and personal development in an English-medium learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Teach Geography to students using interactive and student-centric teaching methods.
* Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning materials.
* Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
* Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and environmental awareness.
* Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom atmosphere.
* Participate in school events, meetings, and other academic activities.
Qualifications
* M.Sc. in Geography with Statistics or Economics as minor papers preferred.
* B.Ed. is mandatory.
Preferred Candidate
* Candidate from an English-medium school background (preferably Convent school).
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Salary & Benefits
* Starting Gross Salary: ₹24,000 per month.
* Provident Fund (PF) and Medical Benefits applicable after successful completion of the probation period.
Transportation Facility
Pick-and-drop transportation is available for candidates commuting from:
* South Kolkata (from Rashbehari)
* North Kolkata (from Esplanade)
