Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret customer Request for Quotation ( RFQs), including technical and commercial requirements, datasheets, and specifications.
- Select the appropriate compressor based on customer process conditions and prepare techno‑commercial quotations along with all supporting technical documents.
- Prepare technical inquiry specifications and coordinate with sub‑vendors for compressor package auxiliary systems, including:
- Piping, filters, and other package components
- Work closely with the Sales team to provide pre‑order technical support, including technical clarifications, proposal support, and customer interactions
- Possess sound knowledge of rotary equipment (preferably centrifugal compressors), compressor auxiliary systems, and applicable American Petroleum Institute(API), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and other international standards.
- Understand and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagram(P&IDs), General Arrangement- GA drawings, and other related technical drawings and documents for proposal and application evaluation.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Engineering, Procurement, and Projects to ensure technical completeness and compliance.
Educational Qualification= B.E. / M.E. in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirement = 5 to 12 years of relevant experience as an Application Engineer or in Application Support, preferably in Centrifugal compressor equipment or Rotary Equipment Engineer from EPC company.
