We are looking for an experienced Floor Supervisor to manage day-to-day manufacturing operations in a sheet metal fabrication unit. The candidate will be responsible for supervising manpower, ensuring production targets, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating between management and shop-floor workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage 35–40 sheet metal workers on the shop floor
- Plan and monitor daily production schedules as per targets
- Ensure proper execution of sheet metal fabrication processes, including:
- Welding (Arc, MIG/TIG preferred)
- Turning
- Lathe operations
- Cutting, bending, punching, drilling
- Coordinate with production planning, purchase, and quality teams
- Maintain basic production and manpower reports
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong hands-on knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing
- Practical understanding of welding, lathe, turning, fabrication processes
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Experience in managing large shop-floor teams
- Leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to meet production deadlines under pressure
Candidate Profile
- Age 35 years or above
- Must be based in Noida / Greater Noida / nearby locations
- Background from sheet metal fabrication, engineering, or manufacturing units
- Stable work history preferred
