Job Description Project Delivery Administrator (PMO & Jira) Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Department: Project Management Office (PMO) / Delivery Operations Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role S3 Group is seeking a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented Project Delivery Administrator (PMO & Jira) to support the successful planning, execution, governance, and reporting of enterprise software implementation and consulting projects.
This is not a traditional Jira Administrator role. While Jira expertise is essential, this position is designed for professionals who can combine project coordination, PMO support, delivery governance, reporting, and business analysis to ensure successful project execution. Working closely with Project Managers, Delivery Leadership, and cross-functional teams, you will help maintain project visibility, improve operational efficiency, support project governance, and ensure accurate project reporting using Jira, Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools, and Microsoft Office applications. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Delivery Support
● Support Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and monitoring enterprise software implementation and consulting projects.
● Track project milestones, deliverables, schedules, dependencies, resource allocation, and action items.
● Coordinate project activities across multiple teams to ensure timely execution.
● Monitor project progress and proactively follow up on pending tasks and deliverables.
● Assist in maintaining project governance standards and delivery best practices. Jira & PSA Administration
● Administer and maintain Atlassian Jira projects, including workflows, issue types, dashboards, reports, filters, permissions, and automation.
● Maintain accurate project information within the organization's Professional Services Automation (PSA) platform.
● Support project setup, resource planning, project schedules, project tracking, and data maintenance within the PSA system.
● Ensure information remains accurate and consistent across Jira, PSA, and project documentation.
● Support users with Jira-related queries and recommend improvements to project management processes. Project Governance & Reporting
● Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, blockers, and project health.
● Track overdue tasks, pending approvals, unresolved issues, missing timesheets, and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely closure.
● Prepare project dashboards, executive reports, presentations, and management summaries.
● Develop and maintain project documentation including Meeting Minutes (MoMs), status reports, risk registers, issue logs, action trackers, and other governance artifacts.
● Provide timely and accurate project updates to Delivery Leadership. Business Analysis & Process Improvement
● Gather, document, and analyze business and project requirements.
● Analyze project data to identify trends, operational gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
● Recommend practical solutions that improve project delivery, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
● Apply analytical thinking and logical reasoning to solve business and project-related challenges.
● Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery operations. Stakeholder Management
● Collaborate with Project Managers, Delivery Managers, Consultants, Finance, HR, and Leadership teams.
● Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders.
● Participate in project review meetings and ensure timely follow-up on agreed action items.
● Build strong professional relationships while maintaining excellent communication and collaboration. Required Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
● 2–5 years of experience in Project Administration, PMO, Project Coordination, Delivery Operations, Business Analysis, or similar roles.
● Hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira.
● Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project delivery methodologies.
● Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Technical Skills Mandatory
