Role Overview
The Senior Architect will be responsible for leading architectural design, project planning, and coordination with consultants, clients, and site teams. This role requires expertise in conceptualization, design development, technical detailing, and execution of large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with standards, safety, and sustainability practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design process from concept to execution for high-rise, commercial, residential, and institutional projects.
- Develop and review architectural drawings, presentations, 3D models, and construction documents.
- Collaborate with structural, MEP, and interior design teams for coordinated project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, by-laws, and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design intent.
- Guide junior architects, designers, and draftsmen in design and detailing.
- Interact with clients, consultants, and contractors to address design-related issues.
- Incorporate sustainable, innovative, and cost-effective design solutions.
- Prepare project schedules, material specifications, and BOQs in coordination with the project team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in architectural design and project execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion, and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction technologies.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Experience in handling large-scale, high-rise, or commercial projects preferred.
