Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Prepare examination rooms, verify patient identity, and explain imaging procedures to reduce patient anxiety.
- Positioning: Assist patients into specific physical positions and use immobilization devices to capture accurate, unobstructed 2D anatomical images.
- Radiation Safety: Follow ALARA principles by operating equipment at appropriate exposure factors and applying lead shielding to protect patients and staff.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, daily calibrations, and basic troubleshooting on X-ray and imaging machinery.
- Record Keeping: Update Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and attach diagnostic images to files so radiologists and physicians can evaluate them.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Typically requires a Diploma in Radiography or Medical Imaging Technology.
- Certifications: State or national board certification
- Core Skills: High attention to detail, technical aptitude for machinery, strong interpersonal communication, and physical stamina to assist immobile patients.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month

- Santoshpur, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
