Job Summary
Swain Aluminium Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Electrician to oversee electrical maintenance activities in our aluminium plant. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment while minimizing downtime and maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in motors, control panels, MCCs, VFDs, transformers, and power distribution systems.
- Maintain and monitor LT/HT electrical installations and plant utilities.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of production machinery through timely maintenance and fault rectification.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Supervise electricians and technicians during maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures, and company safety policies.
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment history.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to plan shutdowns and maintenance schedules.
- Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
Qualification & Experience
- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Experience in aluminium plants, extrusion units, manufacturing industries, or heavy industrial environments will be preferred.
- Sound knowledge of electrical panels, motors, transformers, switchgear, VFDs, PLCs, and industrial automation systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
