Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support quality assurance activities in machining and metal component manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for inspections, quality documentation, QMS compliance, non-conformance handling, measurement systems, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of raw materials, components, and finished machined parts.
- Ensure products meet customer requirements, engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Support implementation and maintenance of QMS procedures, work instructions, and quality records.
- Prepare and maintain Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, Inspection Standards, and Quality Check Sheets.
- Monitor calibration and verification of measuring instruments, gauges, CMMs, and testing equipment.
- Identify and document product and process non-conformities.
- Support root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, and other quality tools.
- Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support customer complaint investigation, containment, and corrective actions.
- Monitor supplier quality issues and support supplier improvement activities.
- Participate in internal, process, product, customer, and certification audits.
- Analyze quality metrics such as PPM, Scrap, Rework, First Pass Yield, Cp/Cpk, and customer complaints.
- Support continuous improvement activities using SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical quality tools.
- Coordinate with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to improve product quality.

Eligibility
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
- 0–1 year of experience in Quality / Manufacturing Quality.
- Freshers with relevant academic knowledge or internship experience can apply.
- Knowledge of machining and metal component manufacturing is an added advantage.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
