We are looking for a motivated and resourceful Marketing & Business Development Executive to help expand our market presence by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and supporting our sales team.
Role Overview
This is a market-facing role focused on research, lead generation, customer outreach, and business development. The ideal candidate should enjoy communicating with people, learning about different industries, and proactively identifying opportunities for Thermarex's products and services.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Research
- Research industries, companies, municipalities, consultants, and EPC contractors that could benefit from Thermarex's solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities across wastewater treatment, food processing, textiles, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, paper, municipal corporations, and other industrial sectors.
- Maintain a structured database of potential customers and decision-makers.
- Monitor industry developments, tenders, new projects, and expansion announcements.
Lead Generation & Outreach
- Generate qualified leads through online research, industry directories, referrals, exhibitions, and networking.
- Initiate contact with prospective customers through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other professional channels.
- Schedule meetings and product presentations for the sales and technical teams.
- Build relationships with consultants, project management firms, and engineering companies.
Customer Follow-up
- Follow up with prospective customers after meetings, quotations, and technical discussions.
- Maintain regular communication with leads throughout the sales cycle.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely responses to customer queries.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-up activities.
Marketing Support
- Prepare company presentations, product brochures, capability statements, and marketing materials.
- Support participation in exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and customer meetings.
- Collect customer feedback and market intelligence to improve products and marketing strategies.
Sales Coordination
- Work closely with the engineering and sales teams to qualify opportunities.
- Track enquiries, quotations, and ongoing projects.
- Assist in preparing proposals, documentation, and customer correspondence.
- Help achieve monthly lead generation and business development targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing, business development, inside sales, or industrial sales support.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (additional regional languages are an advantage).
- Confident in making cold calls and initiating conversations with new clients.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM software is preferred.

Candidates with experience in any of the following industries will be preferred:
