Job Role:- SAP Basis Administrator
Key Responsibilities:-
SAP Basis Administration -
- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems including:
- SAP ECC
- SAP NetWeaver
- SAP Solution Manager
- SAP S/4HANA (preferred)
- Perform SAP system refreshes, client copies, and transport management.
- Execute kernel upgrades and support package upgrades.
- Apply SAP Notes using SNOTE.
- Manage SAP users, roles, authorizations, and security settings.
- Perform system health checks and proactive monitoring.
- Troubleshoot SAP system performance and availability issues.
SAP HANA Database Administration -
- Install, configure, and administer SAP HANA databases.
- Perform HANA database upgrades and patching activities.
- Monitor database health, memory utilization, and performance.
- Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Configure and administer HANA System Replication.
- Create and maintain HANA tenants and database users.
- Perform database housekeeping and capacity planning.
System Migration & Project Support -
- Participate in SAP migration and implementation projects.
- Support SAP system upgrades and platform migrations.
- Perform pre and post-migration validation activities.
- Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and security teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and SOPs.
Incident & Change Management -
- Resolve SAP Basis and HANA incidents within agreed SLAs.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem management.
- Support planned maintenance activities and change implementation.
- Provide on-call support during critical business hours.
