Job Title: Senior Collection Manager – NBFC (Personal Payday Loan)
Job Summary:
The Senior Collection Manager will be responsible for leading collection operations, driving recovery performance, managing collection teams and strategies, and ensuring compliance with RBI regulations and company policies. The role involves managing delinquent portfolios, improving collection efficiency, reducing portfolio risk, and maintaining ethical and customer-centric recovery practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage collection operations across assigned delinquency buckets and portfolios.
- Develop and implement collection strategies to achieve recovery targets and reduce delinquency.
- Manage and mentor Collection Managers, Team Leaders, and Collection Executives.
- Monitor key collection metrics including recovery rate, PTP, RPC, roll rate, DPD movement, and productivity.
- Analyze portfolio performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure collection activities comply with RBI guidelines, Fair Practices Code, and internal policies.
- Handle high-value, sensitive, and escalated customer cases.
- Coordinate with Risk, Credit, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Customer Support teams.
- Conduct RCA on collection gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly collection MIS and performance reports.
- Drive process improvements, digital collection initiatives, and operational efficiency.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory requirements related to collection operations.
Required Skills:
- Strong leadership and collection operations management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of delinquency management and collection strategies.
- Strong understanding of DPD, PTP, RPC, roll rates, recovery rate, and portfolio performance.
- Knowledge of RBI regulations and Fair Practices Code applicable to loan collections.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and escalation management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM, dialer systems, Excel, and MIS reporting.
- Experience in team handling, performance management, and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced, and compliance-focused environment.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
