Main responsibilities of an HR Intern
- Recruitment & Hiring
- Post job vacancies on platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, Naukri, etc.
- Search and shortlist candidate CVs.
- Call candidates and explain job details.
- Schedule interviews.
- Follow up with candidates regarding interview results and joining dates.
- Onboarding
- Collect joining documents from selected candidates.
- Help prepare offer/joining documents.
- Coordinate the candidate's joining process.
- Update employee information in HR systems or Excel.
- Employee Coordination
- Communicate with employees regarding HR-related queries.
- Help coordinate attendance, leave, and other basic employee requests.
- Support employee engagement activities.
- HR Documentation
- Maintain employee records and recruitment trackers.
- Update Excel/Google Sheets.
- Maintain candidate databases.
- Prepare basic HR reports.
- Attendance & Payroll Support
- Assist in checking attendance records.
- Coordinate attendance-related corrections.
- Provide required information to the payroll team.
- General HR Support
- Assist HR executives/managers with daily tasks.
- Coordinate meetings and interviews.
- Prepare recruitment and HR reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
