Position Summary:
The Manager – Merchandise & Retail Operations will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of Christian merchandise stores, ensuring effective inventory management, sales growth, product availability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence across all retail outlets. The role will focus on strengthening retail performance, expanding product reach, and supporting the ministry's vision through quality Christian resources and merchandise.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all retail stores and sales outlets.
- Ensure smooth functioning of store operations, customer service, and merchandising standards.
- Monitor store performance and implement initiatives to improve sales and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
Merchandise Management
- Plan and manage merchandise assortment, procurement, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments for timely product availability.
- Monitor stock movement and optimize inventory to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Introduce new products and merchandise aligned with ministry objectives and customer needs.
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute strategies to increase retail sales and revenue.
- Identify opportunities for expanding product offerings and distribution channels.
- Analyze sales trends and recommend actions to improve business performance.
- Support promotional campaigns, events, and seasonal sales initiatives.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management
- Ensure accurate inventory control and stock reconciliation across locations.
- Monitor warehouse and distribution processes for efficient product movement.
- Establish inventory forecasting and replenishment systems.
- Coordinate logistics and product distribution to stores nationwide.
Team Management
- Lead, guide, and motivate store teams to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Ensure adequate staffing and operational support across locations.
- Foster a culture of service excellence, accountability, and teamwork.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and present sales, inventory, and operational reports to management.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and profitability of retail operations.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
Spiritual & Ministry Alignment
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to Christian values and the vision of the ministry.
- Ensure all retail operations reflect the mission, integrity, and service standards of the organization.
- Support the promotion and distribution of ministry resources that contribute to spiritual growth and outreach.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
