- About the Role
- We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design support and optimize enterprise scale Unified Communications and collaboration platforms within a regulated financial services environment
- This role provides L3 L4 platform ownership architectural validation lifecycle management system upgrades security enforcement and resiliency design across Cisco UC SIP infrastructure Oracle SBC Microsoft Teams Direct Routing SSO integrations and certificate management
- The ideal candidate demonstrates deep technical expertise strong governance discipline and proven experience operating mission critical voice systems in a high availability banking model
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced L3 L4 engineering support across Cisco UC platforms CUCM Unity Connection CER
- Lead platform upgrades migrations and lifecycle management initiatives
- Design and validate dial plan architecture call routing logic and redundancy models
- Engineer and optimize Oracle SBC configurations and SIP trunk integrations
- Support and validate Microsoft Teams Direct Routing integrations
- Manage TLS SRTP encryption and certificate lifecycle management
- Implement and support SSO and identity integrations with enterprise authentication platforms
- Support network level troubleshooting including QoS RTP flows and call quality diagnostics
- Review and approve production impacting configuration changes
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery design validation
- Collaborate with automation engineers to modernize operational workflows
- Required Qualifications
- 11 15 years of enterprise Unified Communications engineering experience
- Expert level proficiency with Cisco CUCM Unity Connection SIP trunking and Oracle SBC
- Strong experience with Microsoft Teams Direct Routing
- Advanced understanding of VoIP fundamentals RTP SRTP codecs QoS
- Strong SIP ladder analysis and call flow troubleshooting capability
- Experience managing TLS SRTP encryption and certificate lifecycle
- Experience with SSO and identity integrations
- Strong understanding of ITIL change management and CAB processes
- Experience operating within regulated financial services environments
- Working knowledge of Python and Ansible for automation alignment
- Experience developing and deploying solutions with Microsoft Power Platform
