Job Description
The Grand Mehfil, Rajpura is looking for an experienced and responsible General Manager (GM) to manage and oversee the complete operations of the hotel and restaurant.
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent knowledge of hospitality operations, and the ability to manage multiple departments while ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all hotel and restaurant operations.
- Ensure smooth coordination between all departments.
- Supervise and manage staff, including performance, discipline, attendance, and productivity.
- Oversee Front Office, F&B, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Banquets, Sales & Marketing, Admin, and other departments.
- Manage hotel room operations, including room bookings, check-ins, check-outs, and guest services.
- Ensure excellent guest experience and maintain high standards of hospitality.
- Handle guest complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor daily operations, revenue, expenses, and operational costs.
- Ensure proper implementation of company policies and SOPs.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and maintain effective communication across departments.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, food quality, safety, and service standards are maintained.
- Identify operational issues and take quick and effective decisions.
- Work closely with the management to achieve business and operational targets.
- Take complete responsibility for the overall performance and smooth functioning of the property.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in a General Manager / Hotel Manager / Operations Manager role is required.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the hotel or hospitality industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hotel and restaurant operations.
- Excellent leadership and team-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple departments and handle pressure effectively.
- Candidate should be smart, active, presentable, professional, and result-oriented.
- Strong understanding of guest service and hospitality standards.
