Role Overview
We are looking for an L2 Support Engineer with strong hands-on experience in network, Linux, and security operations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of firewalls, network monitoring systems, and web application security, along with exposure to virtualization and Active Directory environments.
Key Responsibilities
✓ Provide L2 support for network and security-related incidents and service requests
✓ Configure and troubleshoot Firewalls, NMS, Network devices, and WAF
✓ Support virtualized environments in clustered setups
✓ Assist in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory-related issues
✓ Work closely with L1, L3, and other infrastructure teams for issue resolution
✓ Ensure adherence to security and operational best practices

Qualifications & Experience
✓ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
✓ 3–6 years in a network/security support role at L2 or equivalent
✓ Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls and security appliances
✓ Strong Linux command-line proficiency
✓ Experience supporting VMware or similar virtualization platforms
✓ Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and OSI model
✓ Familiarity with ITIL-based incident and change management processes
✓ Good documentation and communication skills
Nice to Have
✓ Relevant certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Security+, NSE4, CEH, or RHCSA
✓ Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, IBM QRadar, etc.)
✓ Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
✓ Scripting skills in Bash or Python for automation
✓ Knowledge of ZTNA or SD-WAN architectures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
