About the Role
Are you passionate about building seamless desktop experiences? We are looking for an experienced Electron.js Developer to join our growing team in Ahmedabad. In this role, you will take ownership of developing, maintaining, and optimizing high-performance, cross-platform desktop applications.
You will work closely with our designers, backend developers, and product teams to translate great ideas into smooth, user-friendly desktop software.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain: Build and optimize robust cross-platform desktop applications using Electron.js.
- Clean Coding: Write clean, scalable, secure, and highly efficient code.
- Integration: Seamlessly integrate desktop applications with backend REST APIs and third-party services.
- Optimize Performance: Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance application speed, stability, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate: Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to design, test, and deploy exciting new features.
- Lifecycle Management: Handle application packaging, version updates, and deployment.
What We Are Looking For
- Core Experience: 3+ years of professional experience specifically in Electron.js development.
- Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Tools & Architecture: Deep understanding of desktop application architecture and version control using Git.
- Soft Skills: A strong problem-solving mindset, sharp attention to detail, and excellent team communication.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Hands-on experience with SQLite, local storage, or designing offline-first applications.
- Familiarity with the nuances of packaging and deploying apps across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
