We are looking for an experienced Drupal Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Drupal development, maintenance, and, most importantly, Drupal version upgrades and migrations from legacy versions (Drupal 7/8/9) to the latest Drupal release.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal-based websites and web applications.
- Plan and execute Drupal core and module migrations from older versions to the latest Drupal version.
- Upgrade contributed and custom modules while ensuring compatibility.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Develop custom modules, themes, and integrations using Drupal best practices.
- Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
- Work closely with project managers, designers, QA, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Drupal 8/9/10/11 development.
- Proven experience migrating Drupal websites from older versions to the latest version (this is a must-have requirement).
- Solid knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Twig.
- Experience with Composer, Drush, Git, and Drupal deployment workflows.
- Understanding of Drupal APIs, custom module development, and configuration management.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Acquia, Pantheon, or other Drupal hosting platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks is a plus.
Communication
Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken) are mandatory. The role involves direct collaboration with international clients, so the ability to communicate clearly, participate confidently in meetings, and understand business requirements is essential.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
