Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Cloud, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, cloud migration, and DevSecOps. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructure while supporting enterprise application modernization and cloud-native initiatives.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure services, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Bicep, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Azure Networking, monitoring solutions, and cloud migration projects. This role requires close collaboration with software developers, QA teams, architects, and IT operations to ensure reliable software delivery and operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevOps & CI/CD
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools.
- Automate build, test, deployment, and release processes for enterprise applications.
- Integrate DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines, including security scanning, artifact management, and compliance validation.
- Manage artifact repositories using JFrog Artifactory or equivalent tools.
- Ensure secure, traceable, and reliable software delivery across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Bicep.
- Build modular, reusable, and secure cloud infrastructure templates.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
- Maintain version-controlled infrastructure aligned with organizational standards.
Cloud Migration & Modernization
- Lead end-to-end migration of applications from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure.
- Modernize legacy applications into cloud-native architectures.
- Optimize migrated workloads for scalability, availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with development and architecture teams to ensure successful migration outcomes.
Azure Cloud Infrastructure
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using services including:
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Azure Functions
- Azure API Management (APIM)
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure SQL Database

- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and operational resilience.

- Design and implement secure Azure networking solutions, including:

- Troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
Automation & Scripting
- Develop automation scripts using:

- Reduce manual intervention through automation and orchestration.
Monitoring & Observability
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using:

- Monitor application performance, infrastructure health, and cloud resource utilization.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Database Administration & Support
- Support and maintain:

- Collaborate with database administrators and application teams for optimization.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with Software Developers, QA Engineers, Architects, and IT Operations teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical reviews, and release planning.
- Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and application issues.
- Stay updated with emerging Azure, DevOps, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for infrastructure automation and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6–10 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
- Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline implementation using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and Bicep).
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration.
- Strong understanding of Azure Networking and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience in cloud migration and application modernization projects.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security automation.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
- Kubernetes Certification (CKA/CKAD).
- Terraform Associate Certification.
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
- Experience implementing Zero Trust security architecture.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure Monitoring and Observability best practices.
