Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and target-driven Placement Manager to lead our Placement Cell. In this role, you will build and strengthen strategic partnerships with top core engineering firms, IT companies, MNCs, and Middle East recruiters. Your goal will be to drive end-to-end placement success, organize campus recruitment drives, and secure career opportunities for our technical and non-technical course graduates.
Key Responsibilities
- Corporate Relationship Management: Proactively connect with HR leads, Talent Acquisition managers, and hiring decision-makers in IT, Automation, Engineering, MEP, and Core Industrial sectors.
- Placement Drives & On-Campus Recruitment: Organize exclusive campus recruitment drives, off-campus interviews, pool drives, and virtual hiring events for SMEClabs trainees.
- Placement Operations: Match student skill profiles with corporate job descriptions, ensuring maximum interview line-ups and high placement conversion rates.
- Global & Middle East Hiring Pipelines: Leverage international ties to onboard Middle East and overseas clients looking for skilled engineers and technical manpower.
- Pre-Placement Training Alignment: Work closely with technical trainers to align student skill sets, soft skills training, mock interviews, and resume prep with current industry standards.
- Placement Analytics & Reporting: Track placement conversion metrics, maintain an active employer database, and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
- MOU & Partnership Signings: Establish formal MOUs with leading corporate partners for recurring recruitment and industrial internship pipelines.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, HR, or related fields (MBA in HR/Marketing preferred).
- Experience: 3–7 years of experience in Corporate Relations, Training & Placement Management (EdTech, Engineering Colleges, or Technical Institutes preferred).
- Industry Network: Proven network of corporate clients, recruiters, and HR decision-makers across Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, and MEP sectors.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; fluency in Malayalam/Hindi is an added advantage.
- Negotiation & Target Orientation: Strong corporate pitch, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
