Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Design & Estimation Costing Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate should have a strong background in control panel design, estimation, BOM preparation, and cost analysis for electrical projects. A thorough understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, and industrial standards is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical and commercial offers for LT/HT Control Panels, MCC, PCC, PLC panels, etc.
- Analyze project requirements, study tender drawings/specifications, and prepare Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Prepare cost estimates for panels including materials, components, wiring, fabrication, and labour.
- Coordinate with the purchase and design departments for pricing and technical inputs.
- Conduct value engineering and recommend cost-effective design solutions.
- Prepare detailed technical submittals, compliance statements, and vendor offer evaluations.
- Interact with clients and sales teams to clarify scope and customize offers.
- Keep updated with latest products and price trends in the control panel industry.
- Assist the design and production teams post-order to ensure alignment with offer.
- Ensure estimation accuracy and timely submission of quotes for all enquiries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Control Panel Design & Estimation.
- Strong knowledge of IEC / IS standards, electrical equipment selection, and control logic.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, EPlan, or other electrical CAD software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP tools, and costing software.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of electrical components, cable sizing, protection devices, and panel assembly.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
