Job Details
We are seeking a Medical Social Worker (MSW) to support the Community Medicine Department by coordinating community outreach programs, health education initiatives, patient counseling, and public health activities. The role involves working closely with healthcare professionals, local communities, and government agencies to promote preventive healthcare and community well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate community health camps, outreach programs, and awareness activities.
- Conduct community needs assessments and health education sessions.
- Provide counseling and psychosocial support to patients and families.
- Assist in public health surveys, screening programs, and field visits.
- Liaise with government agencies, NGOs, and community organizations.
- Maintain records, reports, and documentation of community health activities.
- Support research projects and health promotion initiatives undertaken by the department.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and public health guidelines.

- Knowledge of public health and community medicine practices.
- Good counseling, documentation, and organizational skills.
