This is an outbound-focused commercial growth role.
You’ll spend your day identifying target accounts, reaching out by phone, email, and LinkedIn, and starting conversations with recruitment marketing agencies, staffing firms, and mid-sized employers. Your goal is to create interest in Talk2Apply and book qualified meetings with leaders responsible for candidate conversion, recruitment marketing, and high-volume hiring.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys prospecting, can communicate clearly with HR and recruitment leaders, and wants to help introduce a new HR tech solution to the market.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect target accounts across recruitment marketing agencies, staffing firms, and mid-sized employers.
- Identify decision-makers in talent acquisition, recruitment marketing, employer branding, staffing, and recruiting operations.
- Conduct outbound outreach through phone calls, email, and LinkedIn.
- Book qualified meetings and demos with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate prospecting activity, contact notes, and meeting status in the CRM.
- Personalize outreach based on company, hiring volume, industry, and recruiting challenges.
- Clearly communicate Talk2Apply’s value proposition.
- Follow up consistently with prospects to move conversations forward.
- Share feedback on messaging, objections, market response, and lead quality.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, SDR/BDR, appointment setting, or similar commercial roles.
- Strong comfort with phone-based prospecting, email outreach, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Ability to create interest and book meetings with business stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, consistent, and accountable with outreach activity.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote startup environment.
- Able to quickly understand a product and explain its value in simple, business-focused language.
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling, prospecting, or working in HR tech, recruitment marketing, staffing, talent acquisition, job advertising, or related B2B markets.
- Familiarity with the U.S. and North American recruitment market.
- Experience selling or booking meetings with HR, talent acquisition, recruitment operations, employer branding, or staffing leaders.
- Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar prospecting platforms.
- Prior startup or early-stage SaaS experience.
Compensation and Work Setup
- Full-time contractor role.
- Remote position.
- Base salary plus aggressive commissions tied to qualified meetings and pipeline generation.
- Company-provided hardware, such as a MacBook or Windows laptop.

You will help Talk2Apply build pipeline by turning targeted outbound outreach into booked meetings with recruitment marketing agencies, staffing firms, and employers that care about improving candidate conversion and recruiting outcomes.
