Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Executive with 5–8 years of relevant experience to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong academic background, sound knowledge of accounting principles, and hands-on experience in statutory compliance, taxation, payroll-related compliances, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, bookkeeping, and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
- Prepare financial statements, Profit & Loss Accounts, and Balance Sheets.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Generate invoices and perform vendor/customer reconciliations.
- Prepare and file statutory returns, including:
- GST Returns
- TDS Returns
- Professional Tax (P. Tax)
- Individual Income Tax
- Provident Fund (PF)
- Employees' State Insurance (ESI)
- Maintain compliance with applicable statutory and tax regulations.
- Assist during internal and statutory audits by preparing required documents and reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow records.
- Ensure timely processing of payments and statutory dues.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants whenever required.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts and Finance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
- Working knowledge of:
- Tally ERP / Tally Prime
- Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, etc.)
- Experience in GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and Income Tax compliance.
- Knowledge of Mutual Fund accounting or investments will be an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
