Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Medical Equipment Technician to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical equipment at hospitals, diagnostic centers, laboratories, and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of biomedical equipment, electrical and electronics systems, and preventive maintenance procedures while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
- Install and commission medical equipment at customer sites.
- Perform equipment testing and functional verification.
- Demonstrate equipment operation to end users.
- Coordinate with senior engineers during installations.
Preventive Maintenance (PM)
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance according to company SOPs.
- Maintain preventive maintenance records.
- Replace worn-out parts during scheduled servicing.
- Ensure equipment operates within manufacturer specifications.
Breakdown Maintenance
- Diagnose equipment faults and perform repairs.
- Identify defective components and replace them.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers.
- Ensure minimum equipment downtime.
Customer Support
- Respond promptly to service calls.
- Explain equipment usage and basic troubleshooting to customers.
- Build professional relationships with hospital staff and biomedical departments.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction.
Documentation
- Prepare service reports after every visit.
- Maintain installation and maintenance records.
- Update service logs in ERP/CRM systems.
- Submit daily activity reports.
Inventory & Tools Management
- Maintain service tools and testing instruments.
- Track spare parts usage.
- Report stock requirements to the service coordinator.
- Ensure proper handling of company assets.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow company safety guidelines.
- Comply with hospital infection control protocols.
- Ensure all work meets quality and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI/B.Tech/B.E. in:

- Electronics Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Instrumentation Engineering
- Medical Electronics
Freshers or candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience are welcome.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
