About the Role
Amend Dental Centre is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager – Learning & Development to lead employee training, capability building, and organizational learning initiatives at our Calicut branch. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare, dental, hospital, or related service industries and a passion for developing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage learning and development programs for clinical, non-clinical, and administrative staff.
- Conduct training needs analysis and identify skill gaps across departments.
- Develop onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
- Coordinate technical, behavioral, customer service, and compliance training initiatives.
- Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with department heads to create individual development plans and succession planning initiatives.
- Maintain training records, reports, and learning management documentation.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare quality standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, coaching sessions, and employee engagement learning activities.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in learning and talent development.
Qualifications & Skills
- MBA in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Learning & Development, Training, or HR (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of training methodologies, adult learning principles, and performance management.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems.
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Talent Development, or HR Development roles.
- Experience in healthcare, dental clinics, hospitals, or healthcare service organizations is preferred.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering effective training programs.
