Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Solar EPC to lead the end-to-end execution of a 100 MW ground-mounted solar PV project, from site mobilization and construction through electrical installation, testing, commissioning, grid synchronization and final handover to the client.
The ideal candidate should have a strong Electrical Engineering background, hands-on experience in utility-scale solar projects and proven ability to manage large project teams, contractors, vendors, clients and statutory authorities.
Key Responsibilities
Take complete ownership of project execution, schedule, cost, quality, HSE and resource management.
Lead end-to-end electrical works including DC/AC systems, string cabling, inverters/PCUs, HT/LT systems, transformers, RMUs, HT panels, protection, metering, earthing and lightning protection.
Manage pooling substations, SCADA, communication systems and power evacuation/grid interconnection.
Review electrical drawings, SLDs, cable schedules, layouts, specifications and engineering documents.
Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, SCADA, Procurement and Commissioning teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Manage electrical contractors, subcontractors, OEMs and testing/commissioning agencies.
Plan and lead pre-commissioning, testing, energization and grid synchronization.
Coordinate with client, consultant, DISCOM/STU/SLDC and other statutory authorities as required.
Monitor project progress, identify delays/risks and implement recovery plans.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, QA/QC procedures and HSE standards.
Lead performance testing, reliability runs, punch-point closure and client acceptance.
Ensure complete preparation of as-built drawings, test reports, O&M manuals, warranties and final project documentation.
Lead successful project handover to the end client/O&M team.
Required Experience & Skills
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
12–18+ years of relevant experience in Solar EPC / Power / Renewable Energy projects.
Strong experience in utility-scale ground-mounted solar PV projects; 100 MW+ project experience preferred.
Proven experience in electrical execution, testing, commissioning and grid synchronization.
Strong knowledge of HT/MV systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, protection, SCADA and power evacuation.
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, contractors and OEMs.
Good knowledge of Primavera P6/MS Project and MS Excel.
Strong leadership, client coordination, communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Willingness to work at the project site in Tadipatri, Andhra Pradesh.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
