- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret schematics, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine exact dimensions and welding requirements.
- Material Preparation: Align, clamp, and tack-weld metal pieces (such as steel or aluminum) to prepare them for final welding.
- Welding Execution: Perform manual or semi-automatic welding (such as MIG, TIG, or Stick) in various positions (flat, vertical, or overhead) to assemble the truss.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test welded surfaces and joints to identify flaws, ensure structural soundness, and verify they meet safety and industry standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot welding machinery, plasma cutters, and grinders.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety regulations, including wearing protective gear, monitoring equipment to prevent overheating, and maintaining a clean work environment.
