Job Summary
We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic France Student Counselor to guide students who are planning to pursue higher education in France.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of French universities and higher education institutions, courses, admission requirements, intakes, tuition fees, scholarships, and the overall application process. The candidate should also have excellent communication and counseling skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students interested in pursuing higher education in France.
- Understand students' academic profiles, career goals, financial background, and preferences to recommend suitable study options.
- Provide accurate information about French universities and higher education institutions, courses, intakes, tuition fees, scholarships, and eligibility requirements.
- Guide students through the complete France admission process.
- Assist students in shortlisting suitable universities, institutions, and courses.
- Handle university/institution applications and monitor application progress.
- Guide students regarding required academic, financial, and other supporting documents.
- Follow up on applications, admission decisions, offer letters, and other university communications.
- Coordinate with universities, institutions, representatives, and internal application/visa teams.
- Maintain accurate student records and regularly update the CRM.
- Keep students informed about application progress and important deadlines.
- Stay updated on changes in French university admission requirements, intakes, scholarships, and student visa procedures.
- Achieve individual and team counseling and conversion targets.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, and other student recruitment activities.
- Provide continuous support to students throughout the admission process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any relevant discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in France student counseling / overseas education consultancy preferred.
- Strong knowledge of French higher education and international student admission procedures.
- Knowledge of French universities/institutions, courses, intakes, and eligibility requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong student counseling and interpersonal skills.
- Good follow-up, negotiation, and convincing abilities.
- Target-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Good computer and CRM skills.
- Candidates with previous experience handling France applications will be preferred.
