Job Title: Asset MIS Executive / Asset MIS Analyst

Job Purpose:
To manage, maintain, and report on IT and Non-IT asset data by preparing accurate MIS reports, ensuring proper asset tracking, and supporting audits and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Asset Data Management & Tracking
-
Maintain and update the asset database (IT hardware, software licenses, peripherals, and non-IT assets).

Ensure accuracy of asset records across tools, trackers, and CMDB (if applicable).

Track asset lifecycle (procurement, issuance, transfer, return, disposal).

MIS Reporting & Analysis
-
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on asset utilization, allocation, movement, and availability.

Provide management dashboards and trend analysis for asset usage, aging, and depreciation.

Highlight exceptions, discrepancies, and provide insights for decision-making.

Process Compliance & Audits
-
Support internal/external audits by providing accurate asset data and reconciliations.

Ensure compliance with IT asset management policies and standards.

Assist in license compliance reporting (software, tools).

Coordination & Support
-
Coordinate with procurement, IT support, and finance teams for asset-related activities.
-
Support new joiner/leaver asset issuance and recovery process.
-
Address queries related to asset allocation, ownership, and reporting.

System & Tool Management
-
Work on asset management tools, ticketing systems, and reporting dashboards (Excel, Power BI, etc.).

Automate MIS reports to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Macros preferred) and MIS reporting.

Familiarity with IT Asset Management (ITAM) / CMDB tools.

Knowledge of hardware/software assets, license tracking, and IT procurement cycle.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.

Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification & Experience:

Graduate (B.Com / B.Sc. / BCA / BE / Any relevant field).

1–4 years of experience in Asset Management / MIS Reporting.

Experience with reporting tools like Power BI / Tableau will be an advantage.
