Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day factory and production operations.
- Plan, monitor and control production activities to achieve scheduled targets.
- Manage manpower allocation, workforce productivity and shift planning.
- Supervise fabrication, assembly and other manufacturing activities.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials and resources.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of manufacturing orders.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Develop and maintain effective production systems, processes and departmental structures.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor productivity, efficiency, quality and production performance.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality and operational standards.
- Manage and coordinate with supervisors, engineers, operators and shop-floor workers.
- Maintain discipline and effective communication across the factory workforce.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and reduce operational inefficiencies.
- Ensure proper planning and execution of fabrication and manufacturing activities.
Required Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering may also be considered based on relevant experience.
- Additional technical qualifications in manufacturing/fabrication will be an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- 10–15 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in:
- Fabrication industry
- Stainless-steel fabrication
- Heavy engineering/manufacturing
- Industrial machinery manufacturing
- Production and factory operations
- Candidates should have prior experience managing production teams and factory manpower.
