Job Summary
The Solar Fleet Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the performance of the company's portfolio of solar power plants. The role focuses on maximizing energy generation, identifying performance deviations, analyzing system faults, coordinating corrective actions, and preparing operational reports to ensure optimal plant efficiency, uptime, and return on investment.
Key ResponsibilitiesFleet Monitoring & Performance Analysis
- Monitor the real-time performance of all solar power plants through SCADA, remote monitoring systems, and inverter portals.
- Track plant availability, generation, and equipment performance across the entire solar fleet.
- Identify underperforming sites and analyze root causes of generation losses.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Performance Ratio (PR), Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF), Specific Yield (kWh/kWp), Plant Availability, and Grid Availability.
- Compare actual generation against expected generation using weather and irradiation data.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual performance reports.
- Analyze historical plant performance trends and recommend improvement measures.
- Develop dashboards and MIS reports for management.
- Maintain accurate operational databases and documentation.
- Generate reports on downtime, energy losses, equipment failures, and corrective actions.
Operational Coordination
- Coordinate with O&M teams to ensure timely resolution of faults.
- Track preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Follow up on unresolved alarms and ensure timely closure.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and service providers regarding technical issues.
- Support commissioning and performance testing of newly installed plants.
Technical Analysis
- Analyze inverter performance, string-level performance, module efficiency, transformer losses, and grid interruptions.
- Evaluate alarm history and identify recurring issues.
- Assist in predictive maintenance using operational data and performance trends.
- Recommend performance improvement initiatives and cost optimization measures.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure operational records and reports are maintained accurately.
- Support internal and external technical audits.
- Maintain documentation related to plant performance, maintenance, and warranty claims.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in solar plant monitoring, SCADA operations, performance analytics, or solar O&M.
- Experience with utility-scale or rooftop solar projects is preferred.
Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
