Job Summary
As an Onsite Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum machine uptime through preventive and breakdown maintenance of conveyor systems and related mechanical equipment. You will troubleshoot issues promptly, perform scheduled maintenance activities, and support smooth warehouse automation operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of conveyor systems and mechanical equipment.
- Ensure maximum machine uptime by resolving mechanical issues within minimum turnaround time.
- Conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance checklists.
- Maintain records of machine failures and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate and raise spare part requirements on time.
- Provide onsite support during emergency breakdowns, including off-duty hours when required.
- Travel to other project sites whenever operational support is needed.
Required Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with conveyor systems and warehouse automation equipment.
- Conveyor belt alignment and tracking.
- Sensor alignment and troubleshooting.
- Roller replacement and conveyor levelling.
- Motor replacement, gearbox and shaft maintenance.
- Conveyor modifications.
- Welding and grinding
Soft Skills
Good communication and coordination skills.
Strong observation and troubleshooting ability.
Responsible, self-motivated, and proactive attitude.
Ability to work independently under site conditions.
Salary
- As per company standards and candidate experience
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹34,000.00 per month
