Position Summary
We are looking for a confident, organized, and learner-focused Live Labs Media Anchor to host and manage mentor recording sessions for our educational platform.
The ideal candidate will coordinate online recording sessions with professors, researchers, subject matter experts, and industry professionals while ensuring that every session is educationally effective, technically smooth, and professionally executed.
This role combines media presentation, interview hosting, academic coordination, content facilitation, and production management.
Key Responsibilities:
Session Planning & Preparation
- Understand Live Labs modules before recording sessions.
- Prepare mentor briefs, recording agendas, and session run-sheets.
- Coordinate recording schedules with mentors and internal teams.
- Review learning objectives and application workflows before each session.
- Ensure recording materials, demo data, and presentation resources are ready.
Media Anchoring & Session Hosting
- Host live recording sessions on Google Meet or Zoom.
- Introduce mentors, learning topics, and session objectives professionally.
- Guide discussions using structured educational questions.
- Keep conversations learner-focused, engaging, and within the planned duration.
- Capture expert insights, recommendations, and authentic feedback.
Educational Content Facilitation
- Help mentors explain concepts clearly for different learner levels.
- Facilitate application demonstrations, simulations, and practical workflows.
- Encourage meaningful discussion around learning outcomes and practical applications.
- Ensure learning objectives are achieved during every recording.
Production Coordination
- Verify audio, video, lighting, camera positioning, and screen-sharing quality.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure smooth recordings.
- Confirm recording permissions and mentor consent.
- Maintain recording files, naming conventions, and production documentation.
Quality & Feedback Management
- Document mentor observations and improvement suggestions.
- Capture module enhancement recommendations.
- Record technical issues, UI feedback, and content corrections.
- Coordinate with content and product teams for continuous improvement.
Post-Production Coordination
- Hand over recordings and supporting documents to editors.
- Prepare editor briefs and content review notes.
- Track recording status, approvals, revisions, and publication workflows.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong interviewing and conversation moderation abilities.
- Professional on-camera confidence and hosting skills.
- Excellent English speaking with clear pronunciation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to coordinate with academicians and industry experts.
- Basic understanding of educational content creation.
- Familiarity with Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.
- Comfortable handling screen-sharing and online recording workflows.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Education, Communication, English, or a related field.
- Experience in EdTech, online education, digital media, podcast hosting, webinars, or educational content production.
- Prior experience interviewing experts or conducting educational sessions is preferred.
