Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manufacturing Recruiter to manage full-lifecycle recruitment for our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of engineering, shop floor, production, and technical roles, with a proven track record of sourcing skilled blue-collar and white-collar talent efficiently in a high-demand environment.
Key Responsibilities1. Sourcing & Talent Acquisition
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes from job posting and sourcing to screening, interviewing, salary negotiation, and onboarding.
- Blue-Collar & Technical Hiring: Source candidates for specialized manufacturing roles, including CNC Operators, Welders, Quality Control (QC) Inspectors, Maintenance Technicians, Fabrication Experts, and Production Engineers.
- Sourcing Channels: Utilize job portals, professional networks (LinkedIn), social media, employee referrals, local job fairs, and industrial institutes (ITI/Diploma colleges) to build a robust candidate pipeline.
2. Candidate Screening & Evaluation
- Technical Assessments: Coordinate and conduct initial screening interviews to evaluate candidates' technical skills, safety awareness, shift flexibility, and cultural fit.
- Requirement Alignment: Work closely with plant managers and production heads to understand specific staffing needs, skill requirements, and headcount timelines as per department mandates.
3. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Hiring Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for plant leadership and department heads regarding staffing updates and interview schedules.
- Consultancy Management: Partner with third-party recruitment agencies and labor contractors to meet urgent or bulk hiring targets while ensuring compliance.
4. Compliance, Metrics & Onboarding
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all recruitment records, background checks, and pre-employment documentation comply with labor laws and company policies.
- Hiring Metrics: Track key recruitment metrics such as Time-to-Fill, Cost-per-Hire, and turnover rates to optimize the hiring process.
- Onboarding: Coordinate seamless joining formalities, safety inductions, and initial orientation for new hires.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: [2 to 5] years of proven experience in talent acquisition, specifically focusing on manufacturing, engineering, or industrial plant recruitment.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong familiarity with manufacturing terminology, shop-floor roles, and technical skill sets (e.g., machining, welding, fabrication).
- Core Competencies:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong networking capabilities and local talent market knowledge.
- Ability to handle high-volume and urgent blue-collar hiring.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS/ATS recruitment software.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
