About the Role
Rodez Web Technologies is looking for a WordPress Developer Intern who is passionate about web development and eager to gain hands-on experience working on real client projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Customize themes, plugins, layouts, and website functionality.
- Create responsive and user-friendly web pages.
- Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
- Troubleshoot and fix website errors and bugs.
- Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and basic SEO.
- Integrate forms, plugins, APIs, and third-party tools when required.
- Upload and manage website content.
- Assist senior developers with website development and maintenance.
- Coordinate with designers and other team members to implement website requirements.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of WordPress CMS.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
- Familiarity with WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders such as Elementor is preferred.
- Basic understanding of responsive web design.
- Knowledge of MySQL, cPanel, or hosting is an added advantage.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work on live projects.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
