Role Overview
The Senior Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations across multiple group entities, ensuring financial accuracy, statutory compliance, and timely reporting. The role requires strong expertise in financial accounting, taxation, banking operations, and MIS reporting, along with the ability to handle high-volume, multi-company transactions efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Book Management
v Maintain accurate books of accounts for multiple group companies
v Pass journal entries, manage ledgers, and ensure proper account classification
v Handle month-end and year-end closing activities
v Ensure reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
v Manage vendor payments, invoice processing, and due tracking
v Monitor receivables, follow-ups, and ageing analysis
v Ensure proper documentation and approval workflows
3. Banking & Treasury Operations
v Handle day-to-day banking transactions across multiple accounts
v Prepare bank reconciliations (BRS) regularly
v Coordinate with banks for transactions, documentation, and facilities
v Assist in fund planning and utilization
4. Payroll & Expense Management
v Process payroll calculations and ensure statutory deductions
v Handle employee reimbursements and expense verification
v Maintain payroll records and compliance
5. Taxation & Compliance
v Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations
v Prepare and verify GST returns, TDS returns, and related filings
v Coordinate with consultants/auditors for assessments and filings
v Maintain proper documentation for compliance audits
6. MIS & Financial Reporting
v Prepare periodic MIS reports for management review
v Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
v Generate financial insights to support decision-making
7. Audit & Documentation
v Support internal and statutory audits
v Maintain audit-ready documentation and schedules
v Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
8. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
v Prepare and monitor cash flow statements
v Track fund requirements across group companies
v Assist in optimizing working capital cycles
9. Multi-Company Accounting
v Handle accounting operations for multiple group entities simultaneously
v Consolidate financial data when required
v Ensure inter-company reconciliations and transactions are properly managed
10. Process Improvement & Controls
v Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
v Strengthen internal controls and financial discipline
v Assist in ERP/accounting system optimization
Key Requirements
B. Com / M. Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter (preferred)
Experience
v 4–8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
v Experience in handling multiple companies or group structures is highly preferred
Technical Skills
v Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
v Expertise in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
v Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems / Excel (advanced level preferred)
v Good understanding of banking operations and financial documentation
