Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Industrial Engineer to improve production efficiency, optimize manpower and machine utilization, reduce production losses, and support continuous improvement activities in the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Study and improve production processes, work methods, and material flow.
2. Conduct time study, motion study, and line balancing.
3. Monitor manpower productivity and machine utilization.
4. Prepare and maintain production capacity and productivity reports.
5. Identify process losses, bottlenecks, and unnecessary activities.
6. Support manpower planning and production target achievement.
7. Improve workplace layout, material movement, and workstations.
8. Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documents.
9. Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments.
10. Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement activities.
11. Analyze production data and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.
12. Support cost reduction and productivity improvement projects.
13. Ensure standard work methods are followed on the shop floor.
Required Skills:
1. Basic knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts.
2. Knowledge of Time Study, Line Balancing, Capacity Planning, and Productivity.
3. Good knowledge of MS Excel and data analysis.
4. Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Work Study.
5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Good communication and coordination skills.
7. Ability to work effectively on the manufacturing shop floor.
Educational Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
