Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost and quality
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
- Manage the procurement of materials, goods, and services required by the company
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely availability of materials
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers for best pricing and quality
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures
- Track market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Coordinate with internal departments (accounts, operations, stores, etc.)
Required Skills:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Good knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes
- Analytical and cost-management skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP systems
- Attention to detail and decision-making skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing role
