Job Summary
J D Academy is looking for a passionate and dedicated Science & Social Science Teacher for Classes VI–VIII. The ideal candidate should possess excellent subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to make learning engaging through activity-based teaching.
Responsibilities
- Teach Science and Social Science to students of Classes VI–VIII.
- Prepare lesson plans in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Conduct classroom activities, experiments, projects, and assessments.
- Maintain student attendance, records, and academic progress.
- Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage critical thinking and conceptual understanding.
- Integrate smart classroom tools and innovative teaching methods.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance.
- Participate in school events, meetings, examinations, and co-curricular activities.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Science or a relevant subject (B.Sc./Equivalent).
- B.Ed. preferred.
- Good command of English.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Freshers with excellent subject knowledge may apply.
- Experienced candidates will be given preference.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of the CBSE curriculum.
