Position Programme Director – Energy Science
Education Ph.D. in Energy Science, Renewable Energy, Environmental
Science, or a related discipline (preferred).
Master’s degree in a relevant field with significant academic or
industry experience.
Skills In-depth knowledge of global energy trends, technologies, and
Required policies.
Strong project management skills, especially in fast-paced,
time-bound environments.
Ability to foster collaboration across academia, industry, and
government bodies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using data to monitor and enhance programme
outcomes.
Experience 12–15 years of experience in academia or the energy sector, with
a track record in agile programme management or sprint
models.
Proven expertise in curriculum design, research leadership, and
stakeholder engagement in energy sciences.

Role Overview:
The Programme Director - Energy Science will oversee the academic and operational
delivery of energy science programmes under a sprint model, emphasizing short,
outcome-focused academic cycles. The role includes fostering innovation, building
industry collaborations, and ensuring the programmes align with global energy
trends and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sprint Model Academic Leadership
✔ Design and deliver Energy Science programmes with a focus on short,
intensive learning cycles.
✔ Develop modular, outcome-driven curricula that incorporate cutting-edge
energy research and technology trends.
✔ Ensure sprint modules integrate theoretical knowledge with practical,
real-world applications.
✔ Regularly evaluate and refine course content to adapt to emerging
developments in the energy sector.
2. Research and Innovation
✔ Facilitate time-bound, impactful research projects addressing global energy
challenges such as renewable energy, energy storage, and sustainability.
