Position: Accounts Receivable Executive

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Executive to manage customer collections, account reconciliations, invoicing support, and receivable tracking. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent follow-up skills, and the ability to maintain healthy customer relationships while ensuring timely realization of outstanding payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor the company's accounts receivable portfolio.
- Generate, verify, and maintain customer invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Follow up with customers for timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Prepare and circulate periodic ageing reports and collection status reports.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Logistics, and Finance teams to address customer payment-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of customer payments, receipts, and adjustments.
- Process and account for receipts received through NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, cheques, and other payment modes.
- Ensure timely allocation of customer receipts against outstanding invoices.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to receivables.
- Support audits by providing necessary receivable-related documentation and reconciliations.
- Monitor customer credit limits and escalate overdue accounts to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Credit Control.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and receivable management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis, etc.).
- Experience working on ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle multiple customer accounts and meet collection targets.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of GST-related accounting and reconciliations.
- Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, Distribution, or Trading industries will be preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
