Job Description & Summary:
An Azure Data Engineering (DE) Lead designs, builds, and maintains scalable cloud data solutions. They are responsible for architecting ELT/ETL pipelines, mentoring engineering teams, optimizing data storage, and ensuring data governance and security.
Responsibilities
Optimization & Governance: Ensure data quality, optimal storage, and regulatory compliance, establishing data governance protocols.
Essential Technical Skills
Core Azure Stack: Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.
Mandatory Skill Sets:
Databricks on Azure or GCP BigQuery, Python, SQL, Devops
Preferred Skill Sets:
Gen AI
